The biggest operating steam locomotive in the US is coming to Cresson, and we’re hosting a watch party! The “Big Boy”, operated by Union Pacific, is operating for the first time over Norfolk Southern and traveling from Altoona to Pittsburgh on Saturday, July 11. Planned to stop in Cresson from 10:45 to 11:15 AM, we will have our Yard Office Lounge and front porch accessible only to overnight guests and ticketholders for this event.
Tickets are limited to 50 people, and are on sale online. Ticket price includes basement and porch access, soft drinks, 2 drink tokens, and light snacks. Additional drinks and food will be available for purchase at the Lounge.
